Impala Luxury Tent

Thutlwa is the honeymoon suite. A lovely extra large suite with views onto the pool as well as a view onto the dam.
Two magnificent “ hardekool” carved lamps dominate the suite. With gecko wall lamps for more intimate occasions.
The massive bathroom has his and hers basins, toilet, bidet, bath and shower.

Tau and Nyati together form the family suite and share a bathroom. One room for the kids and one for Mom and Dad. A lovely bathroom decorated with the coolest of sea shore scenes finishes off this lovely suite

Ndlovu- the Elephant suite is the most popular suite at the lodge. The suite looks out onto the dam and early mornings guarantee amazing bird life at the dam as well as the opportunity of seeing wildlife coming down to the dam for water.

An amazing bathroom with a glass-panelled shower, a large corner bath and decorated with elephant motifs and wall panels brings the spirit of Africa to this suite.

Bejane means “ bad tempered and irritable” in Zulu and is a good name for the Rhino but you definitely will not wake up bad tempered and irritable when you sleep in Bejane.

A lovely view of the dam and bush ensures a wonderful start for your day. Don’t be surprised to find a blesbuck or impala gazing into your room.

Kingfisher – A delightful, warm and sunny suite on the western side of the lodge catches the afternoon sun.

A lovely bathroom painted totally with an underwater mural brings a certain brightness to the bushveld.

Impala – A luxury safari tent.Experience the African bushveld from the tree tops. This luxury safari tent is situated on a wooden deck up in the Tamboti trees.
With all of the home comforts of an en-suite bathroom and stunning old world décor. This is a “must do”.

Wake up in the morning to the sound of kudu orimpala munching away beneath the tent.

Tamboti Game Lodge is situated approx 25 mins drive from Pretoria, 9 km from the N1 highway on the road to Rust de Winter. The Carousel is approx 15 mins drive away.

Bar facilities and light meals are available. Exquisite, theme based lunches and dinners are available in our lapa.
If you wish to enjoy a quiet picnic under lovely trees, in the surroundings of the bush… we can help. We supply ready made delicately prepared picnic baskets.

Conference facilities
Tamboti Game lodge is ideal for small conferences, management breakaways and bosberaads, The air-conditioned conference facility is fully equipped with data video projector and screen.

Quad safaris
Go for an unusual game drive on a quad bike and get up close and personal with the game on the farm.

Bird watching
Bird watching is a must do activity. There are seasonal wetlands, natural dams, grasslands, bushveld and heavily wooded areas. 160 bird species have already been sighted on the farm including a few rare migrants. Bike Trails
Mountain bikes are available and there is a very comfortable trail cut through the farm for a really relaxing game-viewing ride. The trail traverses grasslands, bushveld and a riverine forest of beautiful Tamboti trees.
